This distinctive programme considers service management and service design as part of an integrated whole. We cannot design services without understanding how they are to be delivered and managed, and we cannot manage services without understanding how and why they have been designed. Working from this perspective you will develop an engaged and critical understanding of service management and service design that will underpin your career development.

This programme is available full-time over one year, or part-time over two or three years. You can register for a full MSc, a Postgraduate Diploma or Postgraduate Certificate.
Our teaching model allows students to choose to study either online or on-campus at the level of each individual course they take. The only exceptions are international students coming to Edinburgh on a study visa, who are required to take all their courses on-campus due to immigration restrictions.
